OUR COMPANY:

Global Profilers is a Recruitment & HR Services firm specialized in recruitment in Africa; we are currently looking for a Brand Manager for our client who is an automobile company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reports to: General Manager Sales

 

Job Purpose

To organise and develop the "Premium Heavy & compact Equipment" activity achieving profitability, in accordance with customers’ (quality, delay, price) and suppliers’ (standard) requirements, and in line with the Group's strategy.

 

·         Compile price sheets and quotes, closing sales

·         Monthly/weekly reporting and liaising with Brand Manager in Head Office, France.

·         Visit at least 1 new prospective customer per day

·         Manage and coach the sales team of the Brand

·         Facilitate daily sales meetings

·         Control and make sure profit targets and budgets are met

·         Initiate promotion and marketing activities

·         Prepare monthly stock orders

·         Establish the necessary file for any transaction

·         Follow and ascertain the payment of any Project

·         Gather market and customer information and report this to management

·         Reports on Key Performance Indicators to the manufacturer

·         Analyses current performance, trends, market conditions, and other contributing factors to help in recommending base and stretch revenue goals

·         Perform other tasks as and when required by management

 

 


 

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

·         BSc/HND with at least 10 working experience years in Sales or Business Development in Heavy Duty Equipment (a 2nd degree such as an MBA would be distinct advantage).

·         Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required.

·         Solid interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work on cross-functional teams in both leadership and member roles.

·         Have strong presentation and writing skills.

·         Possess strong interpersonal skills and is a relationship builder.

·         Must have a style that promotes respect, credibility and trust throughout the organisation.

·         Strategic thinker and creative marketer who is results oriented and self-motivated.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         Ability to work independently without significant supervision. Capable of thinking outside the box.
