NSRP- Programme Officer

The British Council in Nigeria has been contracted by the UK’s Department for International Development to manage the Nigeria Stability and Reconciliation Programme (NSRP). The British Council works in partnership with International Alert and with Social Development Direct. The main duties will include:

•          Responsibility for the implementation of an agreed portfolio of projects within NSRP, ensuring documentation and processes are consistent with client, corporate and programme standards.

•          To support financial and technical reporting to internal/external clients and customers, ensuring reporting standards are in accordance with client and corporate standards.

•          Managing project-level finances using programme systems for an agreed portfolio of NSRP projects, ensuring client, corporate and programme standards are met.

•          Contribute to programme communication and promotion.

NSRP -  Finance Officer

The main duties will include:

•          Responsible for the day to day management of all financial, banking and tax operations

•          Accountable for the efficient day to day running of the programme’s financial systems and processes

•          Responsible for accurate and timely management of purchase orders

•          Responsible for management of vendor creation process and travel, expenses and advances           

•          Accountable for effective and efficient management of programme’s account payables

NSRP - Facilities & Procurement Officer

Main Duties:

•          Support the facilities management process in relation to the provision of goods and services to the NSRP programme

•          Undertake and organise routine maintenance of programme facilities, equipment and vehicles as delegated by the facilities and procurement manager

•          Support the facilities and procurement manager in the procurement of large equipment and various Outputs procurements

•          Maintain the programme inventory for all items of equipment

•          Support the facilities and procurement manager in developing and implementing required policy and procedures for drivers, vehicle usage and fuel management       

•          Support the facilities and procurement in scheduling and managing annual rehearsal of business continuity plan in collaboration with NSRP Security Coordinator

•          Support the facilities and procurement manager in regular and effective testing of emergency procedures in all NSRP offices
