Position: Field Assistant (Seed Project)

Location: Kaduna, Kano 
Reports To: Project Manager, Seeds

 

Person Profile

  • A higher national diploma, with a minimum of Upper Credit in Agricultural Extension or Agric. based sciences from a reputable institution.

Position: Product Development Coordinator
Location: Zamfara, Suleja, Kontagora, Bida, Sokoto, Taraba, Nasarawa, Ebonyi, Kebbi.
Reports To: Project Manager, Seeds

Qualification

  • Applicant should have a higher national diploma, with a minimum of Upper Credit in Agricultural Extension or Agric. based sciences from a reputable institution.

Required Skills

  • Product Development, Demonstrations, Activations, Customer Service, Prospecting skills and Presentation Skills,
  • Applicant must have a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel.

Key Duties

  • Product Development; Create new markets for products by demonstrating products and creating awareness; Planning and executing of all Activations within his region;
  •  Market intelligence-gather and analyze information;
  • Give feedback on market needs as inputs into product development;

Experience:       

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience; years of experience in the FMCG (fast moving consumers goods) sector is an added advantage.

Qualification

  • Minimum of Second Class, Upper Division in management sciences or any relevant discipline from a reputable institution. A degree in Crop Protection or Agronomy with a thesis in Weed science or Agricultural Biology and/or a master's degree in management or any relevant and related discipline is an added advantage.

Required Skills

  • Ability to meet Sales Goals, Territory Management, Presentation Skills, Performance Management; Building Relationships, Emphasizing Excellence, Sales Planning and Managing Profitability, A sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Key Duties

  • Achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews: Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for territories in support of national objectives;
  •  Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures: analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions;
  • Accomplishes regional sales human resource objectives by recruiting, training, and enforcing discipline of employees in assigned region and procedures,
