Job Title: MB Account Manager

Job Description

  • Lead and develop a team of researchers including, but not limited to, managing their performance appraisals, and providing them with training and development
  • Forge strong client relationships and high satisfaction level by building strong rapport and trust
  • Identify and act on new business opportunity amongst existing and new clients
  • Assist Account Director/ Group Account Director in management of revenue budgets set for clients
  • Prepare proposals independently
  • Analysing data, drawing recommendations and presenting to clients
  • Quality control and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Costing projects and monitoring costs on projects
  • Contribute towards Millward Brown learning
  • Take responsibility for the project process that includes:
    •  
      • Design of questionnaires/discussion guides
      • Preparation of all material for fieldwork/briefing fieldwork
      • Data and coding/checking and specking
      • Presentation preparation and delivery where required.

Qualifications/Work Experience

Qualifications:

o 3 year degree, preferably in Research, marketing, business, economics of social sciences

o Masters degree in above fields added advantage

Previous experience of:

o Preferably 5+ (at least 4+) years’ relevant market research experience in a research agency, client company, or management or marketing consultancy.

o Regularly presenting to clients

o Managing all stages of projects from brief to presentation

o At least one years experience managing a small team/line reports

Preference will be given to local Nigerian Nationals or somebody who already resides in Nigeria.

  • Manage the day to day relationships with clients
  • Work in association with your Senior to manage a team of researchers, this includes
    • Taking responsibility to manage the day to day work allocation within your team
    • Play an active role in developing line reports, including training, mentoring and coaching them where necessary
    • Pitch for new business
