Small boutique Financial Service Investment fund based in Lagos, are seeking a Operational Risk Business Support Analyst.

Job Description

The Operational Risk Business Support Analyst will support the development of a toolkit which will support the investment managers in undertaking appropriate due diligence of Operational Risk on acquiring an investment and the on-going monitoring of Operational Risk in the investment team.

  • Support the Chief Risk Officer (CRO), and take responsibility for the regular reporting of Operational Risk to MD.
  • Work with the COO and CRO to document and implement the Operational Risk Framework
  • Document Policies and liaise with Group Policy owners to get them accepted and ensure they fit with Group Policy
  • Document processes and procedures to support the policies
  • Support the development of a toolkit for undertaking Operational Risk Due Diligence when investments are acquired
  • Support the design and implementation of processes for the on-going management of Operational Risk
  • Design appropriate MI to monitor the risk framework including the reporting of breaches.
  • Undertake projects in which may also involve the wider Group
  • Collate the MI for reporting Operational and other risks to the Boards and Risk Committee on a monthly basis
  • Maintain risk registers
  • Support risk workshops and reviews of risks
