The West Africa Sales Manager is responsible for all distribution business development and sales, and overall customer satisfaction in West Africa Area. Responsibilities include market sizing and intimacy, development of market and sales strategies and tactical execution, customer relationship management, channel design and management, and the profitable growth of Wayne’s sales and market position in the area. Essential Responsibilities:

Understanding the economic, political and regulatory trends of the area.

- Understanding the markets, its customer needs, and competitor landscape

- Sizing the market and identifying key growth opportunities (e.g. Dispenser, Parts, POS, Outdoor Payment, Media, and Service, CNG, etc.)

- Developing and implementing country, customer, and key account strategies and performance metrics

Channel Management

- Align distributors with the market /customer strategies and needs, and with performance targets

- Develop new channels in markets

- Develop contacts within Major Oil Companies (MOC) and where possible negotiate direct contracts

- Meet and exceed customer requirements and expectations

- Assess, strengthen, and/or upgrade distributors performance and capabilities to achieve desired growth and market leadership

- Working with distributors, jointly develop and own country and customer tactical plan, with mutually agreed upon sales growth target, customer and opportunity prioritization, and detail tactical plan /ownership

- Train, mentor and support local partner’s solution selling capabilities and opportunities

- Drive and manage tactical plan execution, and ensure delivery of our revenue targets for each country

- Perform periodic distributor audits
* Lead and drive customer problem resolution; act as a liaison between our customers and Wayne's product management and engineering for new product needs and quality or reliability issues resolution.



- Minimum educational level of a Bachelor Degree from accredited university; preferably an MBA from accredited graduate school

- Customer focused and results driven

- Extensive hands-on solution selling experience, preferably in the retail dispenser or related industries but not essential

- Proven track record of growing the top line profitably

- Regional Sales Experience across this area

- Hands-on experience selling through and managing distributor sales force

- Preferential to have experience of setting up and developing new distributors

- Able to negotiate with the best

- Thrives, and strong in developing and growing relationships & sponsorship
