Senior Project Manager/ Operations Leader - Nigeria Offshore Job

Essential Responsibilities:

* Support the ITO (Proposal Phase) to OTR (Order Execution Phase) Handover Process (or RAC Process)
* Manage a team of proposals analysts to prepare proposals and quotations for the North America Region and in support of other global regions. Team will either be country-based or product based. This role involves responsibility to produce proposals across all product lines ranging from simple part numbered items to complex multi-system offerings.
* Coordinate and distribute the proposal workload to your proposals team
* Coordinate proposal efforts by working with the Applications Engineering team, contracts, finance, and product support personnel.
* Establish key metrics to measure performance & effectiveness - use output to drive performance improvements.
* Production forecasting and support the development of annual sales plans.
* Work with sales to develop strategies and tactics to grow market penetration and margin expansion.
* Works with sales and application engineering to develop technical and commercial plans to address prospect pipeline.
* Work with global supply chain and manufacturing to ensure the lowest qualified sources are used to develop competitive quotations.
* Develop and maintain relationships with all relevant customer levels.
* Provide commercial support to sales team and OTR project teams.
* Coordinate the review and documentation of all customer contracts prior to acceptance and hand-off to OTR organization.
* Maintain the status of deliverables and convey the bid status internally and to the customer as required.
* Responsible for identifying and implementing efficiency improvements through coordinating internal system changes.
* Foster the development of individual team member skill-sets, and prepare them for bigger, more unique challenges.
* Work to all required Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Policies
* Work to all required Compliance and International Trade Control regulations



* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in a customer service, proposals or sales position)
* High proficiency in the English language

Rental Tool Regional Lead Job

Essential Responsibilities

Reporting to the EMC Regional Rental Manager and the Regional Services Manager, he/she will be responsible for:

-Identifying future Rental customer requirements and consolidating this data within our resource management planning tool.
-To support ITO teams during rental quotation tendering stages to ensure sufficient rental assets are available to meet the required operation dates.
-To review rental resource plans and identify the most efficient location in which those assets shall be provided
-Managing the Rental intercompany transfer process while securing inter-regional support.
-Ensuring our resource management tool has active projects and rental assets assigned accordingly.
-Working with our legal and tax teams, identify the necessary legal entity which we shall conduct our business in order to satisfy importation and tax regulatory requirements in each country we shall operate.
-Manage the movement, where necessary, of assets from one legal entity to another as equipment is relocated.
-Coordinating the efficient return of rental assets to the corresponding region ,once the customer demand has been completed
-Forecast, monitor and report Rental revenue by month, quarter and annually
-Monitor Rental contribution margin, identify key variables and identify opportunities for improvement
-Support and guide logistics team in the efficient movement of rental assets to where our customers require them.
-Identify future rental tool demand trends and put together investment plans to support future growth
-Manage rental tool rotation during long term campaigns. Plan the effective change out and movement of equipment
-Coordinate the tool spares provisions and ensure sufficient parts are made available to allow high quality rental assets to be maintained while in offshore operations
-Coordinate, where required, mobile tool workshops to allow service personnel to effect tool repairs in remote locations
-Manage the rental tool maintenance programs and ensuring sufficient records for each asset deployed are available.
-Support customer queries and issue resolution



-BS or BA in Business, Materials Planning or similar degree.
-Three or more years of professional experience with planning, asset management, inventory management or materials logistics.
-Strong analytical skills with demonstrated competency in Microsoft Excel
-Outstanding verbal and written communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills
-Excellent team player, whilst still being a self-starter.
-Able to work remotely from the customer operations and management team
-Fluent in English (spoken & written)

Sourcing Programs Leader - South Africa or Nigeria 

Role Summary/Purpose:

Role to be based in South Africa or Nigeria depending on suitable candidate found.

The Sourcing Programs Leader drives strategic initiatives for the OneGE Africa Sourcing organization. In this role, you will expand supplier capabilities in key markets to meet the needs of multiple GE businesses. This role requires a strong interaction with the Regional and Global Indirect Sourcing team, Supplier Development team, Controllership, and Lean Six Sigma organization


Essential Responsibilities:

§ Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams empowered to execute the Lean Six Sigma strategy for process improvement in the areas of Vendor & Contract Management, Systems, Analysis & Reporting, Local Content, Training, Compliance & Controllership
§ Support the Regional Sourcing Leader with GE Indirect Sourcing Council activities and deliverables
§ Deliver breakthrough levels of improvement in process capability and business processes to reduce defects and attain world-class levels of quality, through completion of a training program on Lean Six Sigma philosophy, theory, and application tools / tactics
§ Facilitate, train, and coach team members in the use of Lean Six Sigma tools
§ Work with operating leaders and teams to uncover and assess Lean Six Sigma opportunities for OneGE Africa’s Sourcing organization
§ Serve as a change agent in institutionalizing Lean Six Sigma quality in conjunction with the Indirect, Supplier Development and Buy-To-Pay teams
§ Partner with Global Commodity Leader, Indirect Sourcing Hub Leaders and Global Operations Enterprise Leaders to operationalize processes and controls including metrics and dashboards to ensure zero leakage on deflation projects and optimization of ……

§ Willingness and ability to travel regionally at least 30%
§ Minimum: MBB – Master Black Belt certification with at least 5 years of practical experience in high technology roles including Energy or Automotive industries
