Job description

Assist with application of budgeting guidelines, processes, methods, roles and schedules in preparing and updating business unit and organizational budgets. Monitor and analyze budget variance and work with management to initiate reviews and other remedial actions. Maintain cost centre and other cost object structure in the IT system. Perform project accounting within project scope and budget. Process cost centre postings, distribution and allocation according to policy. Conduct analysis and manage (financial) information for projects. Collate data required to generate periodic performance reports and forecasts for the technical business units. Apply relevant evaluation frameworks to support capital spending decisions. Provide insightful and timely financial reporting across the project portfolio. Build and maintain effective financial models for projects and working capital reporting. Support and challenge project spending where necessary. Manage relationships with project stakeholders by providing financial support and reviewing financial performances. Work closely with CFG to ensure accurate financial forecast and focus on P & L targets. Understand and guide project managers with regards to budgets and budgeting process. Recommend process and control improvements which would bring about efficiencies and allow departments to better satisfy their business goals and objectives. Manage the production and presentation of period actual and forecasts for budget holders providing challenges where necessary Providing and IT support to Project Managers during project budget preparation.Provide revenue forecast and project margin analysis. Work with Account Managers and Project Managers to identify billable project milestones and revenue recognition opportunities. Update Navision with project information. Collate and prepare data for annual budget preparation. Prepare and update QPR worksheets. Regular and timely update Revenue monitor with Bizwon and revenue details. Track fixed assets movements and disposals. Participate in periodic stock checks in order to validate the condition of the company’s assets.
