Department Description

  • With Consulting Sales Reps, develops sales opportunities through their entire life-cycle, including account & territory planning, direct customer interaction. Leading to new Consulting bookings.
  • Contributes extensively to the Consulting ES services “go-to-market” strategy at both locally and an EMEA level.
  • Works closely with the Cluster License/Hardware Sales Reps to promote, position and sell Consulting capabilities and services for all Engineered Systems, including Big Data.
  • Works closely with License Sales, Sales Consulting, Marketing and Oracle Direct to promote Consulting ES values and solutions.
  • Understands both local markets for ES services and creates/develops/executes suitable demand generation activities through all possible internal and external sales channels


  • A high level of commercial and business acumen gained through direct experience, previous Business Development and Sales experience is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to present confidently in front of 100+ people as equally as with 1 person
  • An understanding of the competitive Services landscape is a benefit, in particular migrations from non-Oracle solutions.
  • The ability to network extensively internally and externally to Oracle in order to create long-term valued business relationships
  • The ability to travel extensively within Cluster
  • Spoken and written skills in local languages (based on Cluster) together with local business awareness
  • A good level of understanding of Oracle’s overall technologies and solutions
  • Advanced degree (such as an MBA) is a benefit

You will be responsible for qualifying and developing value add propositions for the customer.

Detailed Description

Responsible for selling the company's consulting or other professional services; primary responsibility may include finding and generating new customers. Develops new accounts and/or expands existing accounts within an established geographic territory, industry, product segment, or channel. Distinguished by additional specialized knowledge in breadth and/or depth, as well as record of success in sales. These incumbents are viewed as an expert in the field and are assigned to large, complex, highly visible, strategic, or tactically important accounts. May have a leadership role.

Job Requirements


Develop strong internal relationships with the rest of the Oracle Account team.  Able to network and develop strong business relationships with customers such that they turn to Oracle for their resource needs.  Responsible for generating leads and submitting proposals to the client utilizing a broad knowledge of Oracle's service offerings.  Primary job function is to generate consulting services, and nurture and close the transaction.
