Degree Programmes Marketing Manager

Job description

  • Develop and implement EMBA/MBA marketing and recruitment strategy to attract quality candidates across diverse industry sectors, disciplines and backgrounds.
  • Plan and implement information sessions and open-days; make presentations to universities, NYSC Camps and relevant target markets for recruitment purposes. Ensure regional coverage of marketing activities.
  • Develop and implement integrated marketing and strategic PR to strengthen the EMBA/MBA as a premium brand. Deploy web strategies, paid searches, email campaigns and innovative social media strategies to increases recruitment success.
  • Conduct research on the EMBA/MBA market and present report for management decisions. Monitor the activities of competitors including foreign Business Schools and align recruitment practices to trends.
  • Plan and implement market cultivation strategies for sourcing of prospects from all channels - building admission pipeline.
  • Act as first point of contact and provide expert advice to applicants on recruitment and admission processes.
  • Provide advice on branding of EMBA/MBA brochures, flyers and other marketing communications materials. Provide information and news items on the website to enhance recruitment.
  • Develop long range organizational and promotional/marketing plans (print, electronic and other medium) for programs and initiatives which support and promote the academic mission of the school in the area of admissions.
  • Provide leadership in positioning the LBS in the MBA admission marketplace to expand visibility so as to attract, select, enrol and retain a diverse student body.
  • Develop annual targets and projections for MBA, EMBA and MEMBA recruitment activities for use in overall budget projections.
  • Any other specific or adhoc duty to be assigned by line manager from time to time.

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of project management
  • Ability to prepare budget and financial reports
  • Working knowledge of MS office application
  •  Knowledge of channels development
  • Recruiting and public speaking skills

Cognate Experience:

  • At least 4 years in a marketing position. Experience gained in service marketing & business development, Consulting or Project Management will be an advantage

Job description

To develop and maintain marketing strategies to meet agreed LBS objectives and also to oversee all

marketing, advertising and promotional activities, the school is in search of a talented professional to fill the role of Executive Education- Marketing Manager.


Reporting Relationship: Director, Executive Education


Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing management reports on performance of each product to support

            decision making.

  • Develop and update marketing databank for accessibility and cross selling purposes.
  • Conduct surveys, analyse and monitor clients’ product preferences and demands
  • Monitor and report competitors’ activities and other environmental factors that could impact

            on business performance.

  • Provide industry report and make informed market forecast to support annual planning and

            field sales operations.

  • Responsible for managing the marketing budget and ensure execution of all marketing activities
  • Provide advice on branding of product brochures, flyers and other marketing communications materials.
  • Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional activities.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products.
  • Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects.
  • Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results.
  • Collaborate with Program Managers in analysis of product performance across time, provide

            informed insight on market dynamics and required strategy to respond to changes to

            improve marketing effectiveness

Minimum Qualification & Experience

Good first degree in a numerate discipline


Professional Qualification:

An MBA is an added advantage.


Cognate Experience:

Minimum of 4 years in Administrative or Marketing position with significant experience in Marketing Research, Business Development, Consulting or Brand Management.




Admission/Enrolment Officer

Job description

REPORTS DIRECTLY TO: Degree Programmes Marketing Manager


  • Plan and implement annual direct recruitment and yield activities to enrol MBA participants.
  • Coordinate the admission of students including test administration, screening of candidates, interviewing, qualification verification based on School admissions policy.
  • Responsible for overseeing the management of the admission database.
  • Compile data and review trend in admissions aimed at improving the selection process
  • Manage up-to-date information on students and academic activities. Records management including data storage, tracking and retrieval, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Manage registration and matriculation documentation. Maintain contact and assist in processing and collection of fees from students.
  • Responsible for administering academic policy and University regulations that govern the process of recruitment and enrolment of students.
  • Coordinate the design and implementation of consistent communication through the admission and enrolment funnel.
  • Manage adhoc and specific projects as assigned by the Manager from time to time.

Desired Skills and Experience


  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft package; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
  • Working knowledge of accounting & basic financial literacy
  • Records management

Cognate Experience:

 At least 2 years post qualification experience in an administrative position. Experience in database management will be an added advantage.
