Our client is a business to business services company dedicated to working with forward looking organisations to Design, Develop and Deploy cost-effective business solutions. Offering a cost effective solutions designed to assist Nigerian Corporations in addressing their social responsibilities while respecting cultural, societal, environmental and legal differences within the communities which they operate. 

We are recruiting for the role of a business development manager; this position is to ensure continued business growth by directing, executing, management of our business development activities in the Nigerian Oil & Gas sector. 

A varied and interesting position, the successful individual will be expected to work across Our client groups including IOC’s, EPC’s, Integrators and services companies / industrial/resources industries, dealing with a range of consulting engineers, OEM’s, electrical contractors, mechanical contractors, and Industrial end users as well as buyers. 


• Develop and sustain long term customer relationships; establish these relationships while engaging customers at all levels including senior levels of the customer organization 

• Prospecting for new clients and enhancing existing relationships 

• Management of the sales process including marketing and our tendering activities


A minimum of five years of experience in business development within oil and gas sector and industrial sector. 
• Engineering or Business Degree preferred, Advanced degree is beneficial 
• Understanding of how to take a value-driven solution proposition to create opportunities with customers. 
• Understanding of the customers’ decision making processes, buyers, and influences 
• Good knowledge of sales processes, commercial terms, contract terms, etc. 
• Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills. 
• Good understanding of the structure of the oil and gas industry in Nigeria. 
• Significant industry sales experience. 
• Highly developed communication, networking and influencing skills; Enthusiasm and results-orientated; 
• Strong network within Oil and Gas and Industry 
• A professional approach that values integrity.
