Hotel Contracts Manager

 

Job description

Manage a staff of 2-3 agents in Negotiating & Booking hotel contracts all over the world. Hotel room fulfillment, hotels payment processing, and package development and input.

Check the Master for paid and unpaid Negotiated Hotel Booking Requests

  • Monitoring the Master; 7days a week, 24hrs a day
  • Contact clients with unpaid requests and attend to their enquiries
  • Providing guidance, direction, whilst apply cross selling and persuasive techniques.
  • Contact hotels and fulfill paid hotel requests
  • Manage and update customer database

Respond to Negotiated Hotel Requests

  • Research and respond to customer enquiries.
  • Fulfill Requests from Customer Care and Holiday Team (inbound calls); by contacting and committing clients.
  • Package preparation for NEGO Hotels

Hotel/Client Relations / Database Administration

  • Update Full Hotel details and contact information
  • Hotels rate negotiation and re-negotiation
  • Contact Hotels for room availability /enquiry
  • Contact Hotels for room night reservation and security.
  • Follow up with hotel to fulfill other components booking requests (i.e. airport pickup)
  • Process Hotel Payments with Accounts Department (locally/internationally).
  • Hotels Mystery Shopper
  • Periodically research hotel rack and competitor’s rates in comparison to Wakanow rates

Corporate Sales Manager

Job description

Wakanow.com has an immediate opening for a Corporate Sales Manager. The candidate will be responsible for bringing in corporate clients, developing new business, and maintaining existing clients.

 

Position is salary based and includes an annual bonus of up to 10% - 20% of salary, based on achieving sales targets. The sales manager will recruit and manage a team of 5 – 10 corporate sales executives.

 

The Sales Manager will report to the Head of Sales, and work closely to strategize and achieve goals. Prior Hospitality or Travel work experience highly preferred. 

 

Responsibilities Include:

 

 

  • Plan and implement an ongoing targeted account list in order to create new revenue and acquire valuable contacts

 

  • Achieve a minimum of 70% of productivity goals and 90% of activity goals, as established by management, and possess a strong desire to exceed sales goals

 

  • Drive revenue through creative sales techniques with strong public relations, leadership, and client and employee relations skills

 

  • Follow up on all leads to create new business

 

  • Conduct outside sales calls, while targeting results-oriented high revenue potential sales calls to ensure success

 

  • Conduct research, surveys, personal investigation and study market place and territory in order to effectively capitalize on the company’s strengths and competitor’s weaknesses and capabilities

 

  • .Effectively monitor market position within assigned market(s)

 

  • Know competitors’ top accounts, decision makers, rates andwhat it will take to move business

 

  • Network with prospects to uncover other decision makers for direct referrals

 

  • Participate in joint sales calls with Director of Sales and General Manager, and other managers who participate in sales.

 

  • Utilize company database to build new business

 

  • Qualify in-house guests for additional business and referrals.

 

  • Write sales proposals and negotiate the close of sale

 

  • Plan and organize market reviews, create marketing plans, conduct sales blitzes, and organize open houses for new properties

 

  • Accountable for selling in a business-to-business environment

 

  • Consult/problem solve with customers

 

  • Perform site inspections, provide client entertainment as necessary

 

  • Be an active member of industry and networking organizations.

From program development to data analysis and forecasting, you will take ownership of the future of Wakanow customer Loyalty. You will synthesize, interpret and translate data into a tangible, action-oriented strategy. You take ownership and drive for results through merging data-driven strategy with advertising platforms.  Prior experience in Loyalty programs is required. 

Desired Skills and Experience

•Lead strategic planning and program development for various loyalty marketing initiatives, including forecasting program impact and translating strategy into technical and operational directives

•Drive product strategy and roadmap using data and analytics; define both business requirements and solution requirements utilizing strong technical skills

•Partner with IT, Marketing, Retail Operations teams to ensure high-quality execution of loyalty initiatives and campaigns.

•Partner with Customer Analytics team to review and analyze loyalty marketing campaign results to ensure program effectiveness, profitability and retailer return on investment.
