Department Description 
The job holder will drive theachievement of our Systems Sales targets across EECIS. As such, he/she willlead the implementation and execution of our go to market strategy across allcustomer segments. The job holder will functionally & operationally manageour different Sales teams, TeleSales, Mid market Sales, Channel  Sales, Co- prime Sales and Field largeaccount Sales team.

The job holder is an ambitious leaderon his/her way up. He/She demonstrates entrepreneurship behavior, ensures fullcompliance to the company business practices and rules and leverages theavailable corporate resources.

Objective: To grow Oracle Systems revenue anddevelop a sustainable business by leading a focused high performing sales forceand leveraging all available channels to market. Driving system sales throughthe entire sales cycle, from demand generation programs through to closedbusiness and customer reference ability.



·       Reportsto the Senior Vice President Systems EMEA

·       Worksas a member of the EMEA Systems Sales Management team

·       Hasreporting to them Sales Managers and through them manages a direct sales force

·       Worksto agreed headcount and cost budgets

·       LeadsOracle’s Sales activities across EECIS

·       Workstowards an allocated systems margin target

·       Providessenior management support for IRP activities in EECIS



·       Drivingthe achievement of systems targets

·       Contributingto the development and implementation of Oracle’s Systems strategy and visionin EMEA

·       Representingthe region’s interests with EMEA and Global

·       Actingas a role model for Oracle’s values and culture

·       Drivingthe implementation of Oracle’s System strategy throughout the business unit

·       Leadingthe development of Systems specific strategies, market coverage andgo-to-market models

·       Workswith Channel & Alliances to develop Partner strategies and supporting jointengagements to win business

·       Workingto develop the balance of Direct/Indirect business

·       Managinga team of Systems focused Sales managers providing direction, leadership andmotivation

·       Communicatingback to the Sales Management team the views and ideas of their team

·       Actingas an ambassador and evangelist for Oracle

·       Actingas an executive sponsor on complex or large deals

·       Buildingand maintaining a network of C-level contacts within customers

·       Optimizingthe operational effectiveness of the Sales Operation e.g. management of profit& loss and productivity

·       Owningthe resolution of issues for Critical and International Accounts

·       Developingand maintaining relationships with specialized Industry Partners

·       Providingaccurate and timely management information and revenue forecasts

·       Monitoringthe performance of the team and ensuring rapid resolution of performance issues

·       Ensuringgood integration with other Regional Business Units and Global Business Units



·       Recruitnew team members as required

·       Setobjectives and review the performance of the Sales Managers and take action toensure targets are met and individual Sales Managers are developed

·       Support,challenge, coach and mentor individual’s in the achievement of their goals andaspirations

·       Attend,speak at and host System events and act as an Oracle spokesperson with thepress and media

·       Monitorthe pipeline of future business and review Regional forecasts to ensure salesactivities underwrite the achievement of targets

·       Ensureachievement of IRP Goals

·       Supportspecific sales opportunities either coaching the sales person involved oracting directly as an executive sponsor on complex or large deals

·       Workwith Finance to understand and review key performance and financial metrics

·       Actas a point of escalation for issues between Oracle and customers

·       EnsureSales Management processes are in place and effective e.g. Corporate AccountPlanning System (CAPS) and Oracle Sales Online (OSO)

·       Activelymaintain an awareness of industry trends and market opportunities

·       Operatein line with country HR policies and procedures

Brief Description 

Overall responsibility for the regions and areas under one group in either technology or application sales, third party alliances, or customer satisfaction. Manages strategically the development and implementation of a comprehensive organizational strategy that maximizes Oracle*s opportunities across all products and product lines in a specific geographic or industry area.

Detailed Description 

As part of the Oracle sales team you will ensure effective senior management of accounts within group which produce mutually rewarding business outcomes and customer satisfaction. Generates business plans that fulfill the organization*s strategies, closely monitors and measures activities, plans, and budgets to ensure desired outcomes. Oversees area and regional management of effective account sales and services team. Assists managers to tailor approaches for mobilizing and aligning their teams around organization*s strategic intent. Responsible for generating and maintaining at least of six reputable references. Manages the execution and closure of sales opportunities by planning engagement and co-coordination of sales and services team. Introduces ideas and perspectives that ensures focus on activities that produce significant long term company benefit. Balances the needs of key stakeholders inside and outside of Oracle. Partners with services senior management to maximize services solutions. Resolves key customer satisfaction issues.

Job Requirements 

Assists in the creation of division strategy and consults with senior management in providing direction to ensure growth and financial success. Ensures a consistent approach of organizational policies and procedures. Extensive knowledge of Oracle*s sales methodologies, processes, competitive and industry knowledge to sales campaigns and account management. Ability to travel. Successful sales track record in high technology industry. BA/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
