Job description Business Development Manager

  • At this position, you are entitled to develop the client Product portfolio in alignment with the overall country/regional sales strategy, enhancing and spreading the knowledge of the client brand and PE products over the Nigerian market.
  • Success factors will be to increase the turnover, number of customers as well as maximizing sales growth and profitability in your area.

Your tasks 

  • According to a defined roadmap and agreed action plans and targets, you will:
  • Identify and visit new customers and prospects
  • Take care of customer relationships and increase customer’s satisfaction
  • Work out price offers until final negotiation / order
  • Pay regular visits to consultants, panel builders, installers, wholesalers and OEMs
  • Prepare products technical presentations,
  • Organize and participate to exhibitions, seminars, meeting,
  • Make ongoing analysis of competitors pricing, distribution strategy, market penetration

Requirements Business Development Manager

  • Bachelor degree in engineering (Mechanical/ Electro-mechanical)
  • Experience in HVAC business / technical knowledge of how systems work
  • At least 5 years of relevant sales work experience in Nigerian market of technical products related to the HVAC industry will be highly appreciated
  • Knowledge of the most common used software and applications (e.g. SAP, CRM, Office etc.) is an added value
  • Your communication skills, high sense of commerce, team spirit, strong personal resilience, and self-organization capabilities will be highly appreciated.
  • Willing to travel intensively throughout Nigeria is a must.
