Cinematographer

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside directors to give films, TV shows, music videos and television commercials their own unique aesthetic style
  • Dissect the screenplay, conduct extra research into different styles and motifs which relate to the subject matter of the script, and liaise with the director to discuss creative ideas
  • Responsible for managing camera crews and lighting crews, oversee the selection and manipulation of technical equipment to create striking images on screen
  • Drive the visual impact of a film by creative choices about the use of different lenses, filters, lighting techniques and camera movements to create dramatic effect and prompt different emotional responses from the audience.
  • Responsible for making decisions about aspect ratio, digital effects, image contrast, and frame rates.
  • Planning the technical execution of each shot
  • Responsible for procurement of equipment and the recruitment of camera operators, gaffers, grips and other technical production specialists
  • Work alongside directors and editors to make sure the colour grading of the film or TV show is spot on

Qualifications & Experience

  • Certificate in Film Making, Photography or related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in film and photography
  • Good technical knowledge of photo-chemical and digital processes and camera equipment
  • A combination of practical, technical and creative expertise, as well as considerable industry experience.

 

 

Graphics Designer

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for creating design solutions that have a high visual impact
  • Responsible for making Banners, Newsletters, Mailers etc
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials
  • Plans concept by studying information and materials
  • Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts
  • Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval
  • Work to a brief agreed with creative director or account manager, choosing the appropriate media and style to meet objectives
  • Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; purchasing from vendors.
  • Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc
  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Qualifications & Experience

  • A minimum of OND in a relevant field
  • 3-5 years experience
  • Skills: Graphic Design Skills, Layout Skills, Creative Services, Customer Focus, Creativity, Flexibility, Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented, Acute Vision, Handles Rejection
  • Proficiency with Desktop Publishing Tools; Photoshop, Flash, CorelDraw, Illustrator etc.
  • Skilled in Animation is an added advantage
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with a team is a must

 

 

Front Desk Officer

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for greeting customers, answering their questions, and directing them to the proper department or person
  • Supply information regarding the organization, products, services and policies to clients
  • Develop and manage good relationship with the customers and visitors
  • Answering all incoming phone calls as well and directing the incoming calls to respective recipients
  • Typing correspondence
  • Employee relations
  • Coordinate signing people in and out of office building
  • Coordinating incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Schedule appointments
  • General administrative and clerical support

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of OND in a relevant discipline
  • 1-3 years experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Must be a team player and have outstanding writing, editing, data entry and proofreading skills.

 

 

Producer (Film/TV)

Responsibilities

  • Reading, researching and assessing ideas and finished scripts
  • commissioning writers or securing the rights to novels, plays or screenplays
  • Checking that copyrights are cleared and understanding media law
  • Building and developing a network of contacts
  • Liaising and discussing projects with financial backers
  • Raising funding
  • Using computer software packages for screenwriting, budgeting and scheduling
  • Managing the logistics of getting people, resources and equipment together to the right place at the right time
  • Hiring key staff, including a director and a crew to shoot films or videos
  • Controlling the budget and allocating resources
  • Pulling together all the strands of creative and practical talent involved in the project to create a team
  • Maintaining contemporary technical skills
  • Organising shooting schedules
  • Troubleshooting
  • Prepare health and safety procedures for the workplace
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and codes of practice
  • Supervising the progress of the project from production to post production
  • Holding regular meetings with the director to discuss characters and scenes
  • Acting as a sounding board for the director
  • Bringing the finished production in on budget
  • Deal with finance and distribution companies in planning the marketing and distribution of the finished film

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Good degree in relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 5-7 years Industry experience
  • An extensive understanding of the nature of film production as well as a strong grasp of business and financial issues
  • Ability to secure finance for the production
  • Ability to establish useful contacts in the industry
  • Must have excellent communication skills

 

 

TV Presenter

Responsibilities

  • Researching topics and background information
  • Planning and rehearsing shows
  • Writing, and sometimes memorizing, scripts
  • Reading from a script and/or Autocue, or improvising
  • Liaising with other members of the production and technical team/s
  • Introducing and hosting programmes
  • Reading short news, traffic, sport or weather reports
  • Interviewing guests in the studio, by telephone, or on location
  • Playing music
  • Reviewing books, films, music or newspapers
  • Providing links between programmes
  • Keeping the programme running to schedule - responding positively and quickly to problems or changes, and improvising where necessary.
  • Making yourself available for creative brainstorming sessions
  • Involved in meeting with production crew to assess/review the broadcast and plan the next broadcast

Qualifications & Experience

  • HND/BSc in a relevant field
  • 3-5 years Industry experience
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must look good and speak well with good dress sense
