Surface Operations Lead, Nigeria

Role Summary/Purpose:

Provide overall leadership to the base ensuring a common vision and unified operating rhythm.


Essential Responsibilities:

- Develop local content according to a wider localization strategy.
- Lead attentiveness to business needs to ensure on time delivery, increased productivity and control costs.
- Direct and ensure the effective and coordinated completion of all activities pertaining to potential equipment orders and firm equipment orders, delivery along with the installation and maintenance of GE Surface equipment.
- Perform functions to plan and direct the required interface between customer, field service and other departments and provide appropriate technical assistance.
- Maintain intimate involvement with all critical accounts to ensure customer satisfaction. Devise action plans for problem resolution and track progress.
- Directly manage the most critical field situations.
- Liaise with the Customer and coordinators to establish the schedule for equipment delivery, installation and the allocation of Service personnel for installation and maintenance activities.
- Brief services personnel on scope of work prior to operations commencing and de-brief on completion of operations.
- Focal Point of contact on a daily basis for the customer and GE surface products covering all aspects of onshore and offshore operational support.
- Build customer intimacy and driving speed and quality through an empowered regional operation
- Drive growth & productivity while always adhering to the highest compliance standards.
- Obtain quotes for new equipment, spares and installation tools, then follow through to delivery.



·-10 years of experience in Upstream Oil & Gas sector.
- 5 years of experience as Supervisor or equivalent position in Oil sector.
- Knowledge of Surface Wellhead & Flow Control equipment in development and exploration disciplines.
- Bachelors Degree.

Role Summary/Purpose:

In this role, you will be responsible for selling GE Healthcare products or services to and maintaining relationships with existing named accounts including large, complex, high visibility, strategic, or tactically important accounts. Specialized knowledge in breadth and/or depth, as well sales experience as an expert in the field will be necessary to execute the job.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Prospecting for new customers and business in addition to growing and maintaining the existing customer portfolio, and qualifying new leads to maintain identified business to support a balanced sales funnel for future sales

- Generating proposals, preparing sales quotations, planning customer meetings, and demonstrating capabilities on assigned products in assigned territory

- Sales negotiation and deal closure at the customer, interfacing with all key buying influencers such as direct users of the product, but also department heads and CXO level personnel

- Expected to sell point of sale service contracts, financing and drive margin though selling value and holding price

- Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge of GE and competitive products

- Achieve annual and quarterly achievement of multiple order and revenue targets through accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting, by prioritizing selling time to generate sales volume, achieve account penetration and complete territory coverage

- Maintaining satisfactory after-sale relationships and development of long-term customer relationships coupled with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities that immediately satisfy customer needs

- Develop account penetration strategies for key target and competitive accounts and communicating current market intelligence back to the business, along with field concerns, issues and requirements

- Providing leadership in market analysis and development/execution of strategies and action plans to drive product sales



Required Qualifications
1. Education to Bachelor Degree level or the equivalent of five years of sales experience.
2. 3 years of strategic sales experience.
3. 3 years experience in healthcare.
4. Proven key account management and project planning skills.
5. Strong influencing, interpersonal and networking skills to drive collaborative culture at all levels.
6. Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
7. Proven track record on relationship building skills.
8. High level presentation skills; able to present ideas to customers in a way that produces understanding and impact. Preferred Qualifications
1. Master’s degree preferred.
2. Experience closing large, complex, strategic deals.
3. Deep knowledge of GE Healthcare and the products and services offered.
4. Fluent in English language.





West Africa Subsea Systems Business Initiatives Leader

Role Summary/Purpose:

The West Africa Subsea Systems Business Initiatives Leader plays a key role in the O&G team in West Africa. He/she will be responsible for growing the Subsea business in Nigeria and will demonstrate leadership by managing all aspects of the Subsea business including oversight and accountability for financial, operational, and compliance rigor. This person reports to the SSA Regional Executive for O&G.


Essential Responsibilities:

The West Africa Subsea Business Initiatives Leader will formulate and implement strategies for the Subsea System Business, driving brand awareness with a clear medium term investment/growth strategy. He/she will also ensure delivery of budgeted revenue, proactively co-ordinate the trade-offs between functions and lead brand and portfolio management. In addition he/she will plan and control allocation of relevant resources and staff selection. In addition he/she will monitor the relevant reporting and control systems. He will also liaise with senior internal functions regarding policy issues and ensure fiduciary compliance of the company.

He/She directs functional areas of a major business segment, translates concepts, develops strategy, and implements change. In this role he/she will create programs responsive to external environment, and participate in cross-functional business and cultural development.

- Develop and monitor the department plans and budgets

- Oversee smooth functioning of integrative business processes both within the department and with the division

- Consolidate business data, perform analysis, make recommendations, and assure implementation to support department objectives

- Support division in providing data and presentations to meet GE requirements

- Consolidate long-range forecasts for the division

- Monitor process, analyze data, and recommend business strategies to minimize cost of programs

- Design, develop, implement, and institutionalize process improvements, focusing on enhanced transactional quality consistent with objectives


- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college

- Minimum of 8+ years of operational experience, especially in business analysis and forecasting


Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

- Knowledge of financial controls and business tracking system
- Six Sigma training is preferred (GE employees only)
- Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization as well to customers
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
