Office Manager

Our client, a fast growing organization specialized in providing equipment solutions for construction and industrial engineering, seeks to reposition its business. To achieve this, experienced hands are required to fill the position of:

OFFICE MANAGER

LOCATION      :    LAGOS 

REPORTS TO  :    HEAD OF LOGISTICS

As an office manager, you will be responsible for the overall management 
of the office work environment. You will perform reception and client 
service duties in a courteous manner. In this capacity, you will:

•    Answer a high volume of calls and maintain a rapid response rate 

•    Log information on calls received and visitors as well as maintain 
     detailed and accurate records

•    Order and maintain relevant office supplies 

•    Receive and record all incoming and outgoing documents

•    Fill data and perform other routine clerical tasks

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS•     A minimum of National Diploma (OND) in Secretarial Studies/Office 
      Management or other related fields

•     5 years' experience in a similar role.

•     Professional, mature, eloquent and pleasant (A female is preferred)

•     Computer savvy with considerable experience using the social media
      Proficiency in computer skills (particularly in Ms Office applications and 
      use of web search engines)

•  Develop and implement sales, marketing plans and project for new 
   and existing products in line with the organization’s objectives

•  Develop optimal brand profitability, pricing, distribution, merchandizing 
   and promotion strategies

•  Monitor, review and report on all sales, marketing activities and results

•  Coach and develop team members to achieve good marketing, 
   communication and analytical skills 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

•  Bachelor's degree in a construction related field (Mechanical 
   Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, 
   Construction Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying etc)

•  Minimum of 7 years' cognate experience in sales and business

HUMAN RESOURCES AND PROCESS QUALITY MANAGER

 

LOCATION : LAGOS 

 

REPORTS TO : SUPPORT UNIT HEAD & MANAGING DIRECTOR 

 

You will be in charge of the broad spectrum of Human Resources
Management of the organization. You will also be responsible for 
recruiting, performance management and improvement systems and 
ensure that all new members of staff are inducted into the 
requirements of the QMS related to their own roles and responsibilities. 

 

In this capacity, you will: 

 

•   Liaise with departmental heads to carry out manpower 

    requirement planning 

 

•   Coordinate employee relations, employee and community 

    communications 

 

•   Administer employee compensation, benefit and safety both

    in station and out-station 

 

•   Provide current and prospective employees with information 

    about policies, job duties, working conditions,wages, 

    opportunities for promotion and employee benefits 

 

•   Manage the employee performance function and collate 

    training need of personnel 

 

•   Maintain records and performance reports concerning 

    personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance 

    appraisals, and absenteeism 

 

•   Deal with disciplinary and conflict issues within the organization 

 

•   Keep an account of the documentation details and every kind 

    of information relating to products, sales, support, and service

 

•   Responsible for scheduling internal meetings, checking document

•   Liaise with the external assessment body on all matters related to 

    the external accreditation process

 

•   Ensure that the document control procedure adopted is reviewed 

    and updated 

 

•   Ensure that an internal quality audit is planned and carried out

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

•   Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources,Liberal Arts or 
    any related discipline (Masters in any field relating to organizational 
    behavior would be an added advantage) 

 

•   Minimum of 7 years of experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory 

    and administrative support role 

 

•   Experience in Mediation 

 

•   Preferable to have working experience in two or more of the
    following areas: human resources management, office administration, 

    organizational development/change management, compensation, 

    staffing, Confident directing HR and advising managers on all aspects 
    of people management and development 

 

•   Sound working knowledge of management techniques including 
    Balance Score Card, Key Performance Indicators, recruitment,

LOCATION      :    LAGOS & ABUJA

REPORTS TO  :    SALES MANAGER

As a sales consultant, you will be responsible for all sales activities and
will work to meet agreed performance targets. In this capacity, 
you will:

•    Provide input for setting up commercial units projections and 
     plans
 
•    Follow up on new business development activities previously 
     instituted by marketing and business development team

•    Follow up on clients for new and pending orders including leads

Studio/CTP Assistant

The Role        
                            
The successful candidate will work in conjunction with our Production 
team to produce the highest level of quality printing plates in an efficient manner.
In this capacity, you will be expected to:

•    Perform transfer, backup and reorganization of client information
 
•    Preflight and manipulate file content for output - trapping, 
     graphic formats, color, sizing, etc., where necessary

•    Do regular Cleaning for CTP  Processing line machines

•    Produce and verify color imposition proofs and offset printing plates

•    Maintain client data for retrieval and historical purposes

•    Retrieve electronic files from a variety of client formats and platforms

•    Minimun of 1 year industry experience required in Prepress

•    Knowledge of desktop systems using most current
     technology (Mac & Windows)

•    Working knowledge of CTP Workflow and imposition software

Graphic Artist

•    Develop creative ideas and concepts choosing the appropriate media

•    Revise existing files (edits, re-draw, typeset, re-size, etc.)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

•    Formal education in Graphics Design, concentrated in PRINT 
     production graphic arts, design, and layout, desktop publishing, 
     or closely related coursework

•    1 year of full-time experience in a PRINT production design, art, 
     or pre-press department 

•    Minimum of OND in a relevant field

•    Highly proficient with Adobe CS3 or CS4 Creative Suite for print 
     (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, and InDesign)

•    Knowledge of Corel Design programs, MS Office for Mac

•    Strong organization, communication, and office administration

Technician – Printing

a highly motivated, hands-on individual to fill the position of:

Technician - Printing    
                                             
The Role

You will be responsible for reviewing the quantity and specifics of an order, 
calibrating color controls, arranging pages and operating the equipment.
Additional duties may also include cutting, compressing and assembling 
printed pages for publication. In this capacity, you will also be 
expected to:

•    Review printing work orders to determine printing specifications, 
     machine set up procedures and supplies needed 

•    Advise and recommend layout, imposition, paper size and quantity 
     to customers

•    Set up and operate printing presses to reproduce printing orders 
     with three or more ink colors requiring multiple passes for each side 
     of press sheets

•    Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair complex machine malfunctions

•    Perform routine cleaning and maintenance

•    Research and implement new raw materials, supplies, and processes 
     and procedures

•    Monitor and maintain quality control of all press department
     operations

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

•    Minimum of SSCE

•    Good knowledge of: basic color theory, color management, 
     color spaces and International Color Consortium standards (ICC)
     color profiling

•    Minimum of 2 years’ experience in operating digital high-volume 
     presses and printers; adjusting, maintaining, and repairing complex 
     digital presses including multi-color presses

•    Ability to work shifts (including nights)

•    Ability to attend to detail

•    Good organizational and communications skills 

 

Technician - Card Body

Our client, a printing services company, launching into the Nigerian market seeks a highly motivated, hands-on individual to fill the position of:

The Role

You will be expected to:

•    Repair, maintain and check the internal production machines and 
     equipment for electrical problems

•    Plan, operate and control the maintenance activities according to 
     maintenance plan, machine and supplier manuals, production 
     schedules and product or process setups

•    Provide recommendations for purchasing or replacing of
     machines and equipment

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

•    Minimum of SSCE

•    Professional understanding of technical operation and dependencies

•    Minimum of 2 years’ practical work experience in a packaging position

•    Ability to work shifts (including nights)

•    Ability to attend to detail

•    Good organizational and communications skills
