Job description
Key Responsibilities/Duties .Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's human resource function and performance. .Translate the strategic and tactical business plans into HR strategic and operational plans. .Develop staffing strategies and implementation plans and programs to identify talent within and outside the organization for positions of responsibility. .Develop progressive and proactive compensation and benefits programs to provide motivation, incentives and rewards for effective performance and to provide programs which utilize an employee and company partnership for the short and long-range health and welfare protection of the employees. .Develop programs to allow the corporation to embrace applicants and employees of all backgrounds and to permit the full development and performance of all employees. .Develop human resource planning models to identify competency, knowledge and talent gaps and develop specific programs for the filling of the gaps. Areas of activity will include talent management through proper succession planning programs for key contributor and management positions, training and development programs for preparing employees for more significant responsibilities and general business development programs to enhance employee knowledge and understanding of the business of the company and the software industry. .Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. .Oversee recruiting, interviewing, testing, and selecting employees to fill vacant positions. Commission and engage recruitment agencies as may be required. Conduct new employee orientation. .Ensures the record keeping of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for reporting. .Maintain knowledge of international HR policies, programs, laws and issues. Understand the differences of domestic and international policies and programs and coordinate the integration of all such programs. .Manage the budget and other financial measures of the Human Resources Department. .Evaluation of the human resource department structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness as well as providing individuals with professional and personal growth with emphasis on opportunities (where possible) for individuals. .Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's administration support function and performance. .Determine the needs for, assess the viability of internal or external sourcing of provision of services for, the installation of infrastructure and ongoing maintenance activities for the company’s data systems, information technology and telecommunications support services. .Maintenance of the office building and the company guest house accommodation; records management; mailroom/courier management; printing and distribution of materials and operations for the provision of services. In addition to other areas such as cafeteria, security, travel and logistics reservations, transportation and company’s car pool management. .Continual improvement of the budget process for the administrative operation through the education of department managers on budgetary issues impacting their budgets and ongoing departmental performance to the budget. .Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the organization. Of particular note would be the use of external, proprietary software for facility, logistics, contracts and human resource management. .Oversee all other administrative functions such as fixed assets planning and management (exclusive of the operational fleet i.e. Trucks and Trailer Backs and Workshop Machinery), structural facilities maintenance (i.e. office building and the workshop area), utilities, and company fleet maintenance management.

Prerequisites (minimum requirement)
Bachelor of Science (BSc) - None
Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM)
12 - 18 years
