ABOUT THIS JOB

Baker Hughes is currently seeking a Commercial Specialist to join their operations in Nigeria, performing all duties in a safe and efficient manner in line with Baker Hughes safety, quality, and operational procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provides contracts management, tender and pricing support for an assigned region.
  • Assists in preparation of bids, tenders, and other customer quotations in support of commercial activities.
  • Reviews,drafts, and modifies oilfield contracts to comply with company commercial contracting guidelines.
  • Under direct supervision, issues quotations of products/services to field operations and/or customer.
  • Interfaces with domestic/international operations or customers.
  • Responsible for pricing a particular product line/system.
  • Handles special projects as assigned.
  • Participates in internal/external audits.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • 2+ years experience in related field.

OTHER DETAILS

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of policies and procedures of pricing/quotations department.
  • Knowledge of product line/systems.
  • Knowledge of domestic /international law for a particular geographic area.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Excel.
