Business Development Executive

Job description

The Candidate  is responsible to create value and bring a consistent flow of profitable new business to the company, in accordance with the sales and relationship management.  Executes the sales and customer relations policies, maintains and improves the Company’s competitive position to increase market share.  Monitors installation/services and customer’s perception and attitudes towards products provided.  Identifies and communicates to technology any specific customer preferences or requests for service and immediately works to provide solution to any customer complaints.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Marketing , distribution and selling of Company's E-wallet cards and its ancillary benefits as a saving vehicle, access to small loans, easy way to collect money from wallet instant transaction alerts security of funds into wallet
  2. Acquisition and maintain good relationship  of merchants / billers / clients
  3. Selling and acquisition of customers into Company’s ecosystem from merchants, internet and retail channels thereby developing relation with these customers
  4. Acquisition of agents/ clients that offer locations to serve as Points of Presence
  5. Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry , researching and analyzing sales options
  6. Projection and building the company as an entity, image brand in order to have an appreciable mind share with our client/ customers.
  7. Acquisition of transaction driven by products – messaging, wallet services and digital content by achieving all revenue targets and objectives in line with Area of Business Plan.
  8. Train and  providing guidance  to customer and agents acquired on all products and services
  9. Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, marketing activities and competitors
  10. Integrate successfully clients and take the connection live
  11. Get customers to start consuming company’s products and services
  12. Identify all open markets in all territories – market sizing
  13. Identify key players in these open markets who can help with  penetration pathway
  14. Maintain and prepare reports by collecting , analyzing and summarizing information
  15. Contributes to the team effort

Desired Skills and Experience

  1. A degree qualification in relevant field is required
  2. Familiar with retail chain/ territorial markets
  3. Must have 6- 8 years experience in sales and marketing
  4. Must be based in Lagos
  5. Ability to drive
