 Location: Lagos Job Objective/ Purpose of Job:

 Lead the Marketing & Business Development efforts of the Hospital.


Job Duties/ Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

 Effective leadership/management of Marketing department

 Development and implementation of marketing, communication and product development plans to maximize volumes and increase opportunities for the Hospitals.

 Analyze competitor strategies, price and service offerings & recommend strategies to retain lead and increase market share.

 Ensure brand consistency and integrity.

 Ensure ongoing effectiveness of strategies through regular communication, training and guidance.

 Continually monitor marketing performance with regards to changes within the marketplace; undertake thorough analysis to ensure targets are met.

 Measure all initiatives and report results.


Key Performance Indicators/ Performance Goals:

 Increased Market Share of Corporate clients and foot-falls.

 Increased referrals from other hospitals/doctors.

 Higher brand and product awareness.

 Robust corporate client base.

 Significant increase in customer database.



 First Degree from a reputable institution.

 Marketing/Communications or related qualification (either degree or postgraduate qualification) would be an advantage.

 An MBA would be an advantage.

 5 – 8 years in a core marketing and/or communications function.

 Previous experience in the Healthcare industry will be an advantage.

 Working Knowledge in a corporate marketing section of an organization in the service. industry is an added advantage.

 Experience in the healthcare sector will be an advantage.


Key Competencies Requirements: Functional/ Technical:

 Demonstrable understanding of services marketing.

 Experience of using various communications tools.

 Excellent written and oral communication skills.

 Ability to identify and evaluate market trends, determine applicability and modify marketing strategies accordingly.

 Above Average Proficiency in the use of Microsoft suite package.
