Manager, Private-Public Partnership/Project Finance

Job Summary 
The Manager, Private-Public Partnership/Project Finance role understands, manages, and monitors company’s portfolio of liabilities, acts as the liaison with investors (public and private), and recognises and avoid serious risks, including those never before encountered.

Job Responsibilities 

Funds Sourcing and administration

  1. Manages and builds solid relationship with the investment community, understand their investment needs and goals and match that to the company’.
  2. Supports partners in closing financial projects by coordinating requirements; building DCF; developing and negotiating contracts.
  3. Reaches agreement (sign MOU) with selected investment partners; screens and analyses potential financing deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements, growth potential, and financial returns; and recommending them to suitable partners.
  4. Management of loan requirement documents.
  5. Ensures the project remains focused on key objectives and goals and complies with established methodologies. 
  6. Develops and manages project expectations ensuring all applicable functional areas are engaged on the project;
  7. Builds relationship with local government to solicit projects and promote financing solution.

Investor Management (PPP)

  1. Ensures the effective and efficient management of the Public-Private Partnership Project by supporting the design, planning and management of projects.
  2. Works in close collaboration with other project teams for effective achievement of results and resolving complex project-related issues.
  3. Assumes full responsibility for and manage effectively and efficiently all Public-Private Partnership project activities and resources in order to meet expected results.

Project budget preparation

  1. Determines, monitors, and reviews all project economics, including costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources, and risk in conjunction with the operations team.
  2. Works with Marketing Manager to develop appropriate sales tools, marketing programs, and preparation for various events to promote project finance product.

Education/ Professional  Qualification:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting.
  • Must be a member of an internationally recognised accounting professional body: ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.

Minimum of 7 years’ in Finance Administration especially in the field of bank negotiations and reconciliation or related field with 3 years in managerial capacity

Key Skills and Competencies Requirement:
