Group Operations Manager

Jobs/responsibilities

  • Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
  • Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (HR, IT and Finance), through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.
  • Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
  • Oversee overall financial management, planning, systems and controls.
  • Management of agency budget in coordination with the Executive Director.
  • Development of individual program budgets
  • Invoicing to funding sources, including calculation of completed units of service.
  • Organization of fiscal documents.
  • Regular meetings with Managing Director around fiscal planning.

Qualification/Candidate Requirement:

  • HND/Bachelor of Science/Accounting, Business Administration and any other relevant discipline.
  • Possession of professional qualification would be in order.
  • Good academic credentials minimum second class.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience.
  • Must be very analytical with good communication skill in both speech and writing.
  • Must be a very good leader and can organize human and material resources with little or no supervision from the Managing Director.
  • Must be pro - active and innovative with good personality.
  • Ability to Multi-task.
  • Substantial knowledge in the Oil industry and petrol station operation accounting knowledge could be an advantage.
  • Use of computer is essential, with applications such as Excel, Microsoft word, power point and accounting packages (Peachtree).
  • Working Hours: 8:00am to close of station, but not earlier than 8:00 pm. One day off duty each week.
